GS-580S - GSI Steady-Yelp Selectable 30 Watt Alarm Siren, 12VDC

The GSI GS-580S is a standard 12VDC 30 watt alarm siren designed to support various security applications. The GS-580S allows for a simple 2 wire installation and features a steady – yelp selectable feature that lets you configure the sound effect you want from the siren.

The most common application for the GS-580S siren is to add it to your current residential or commercial alarm system. When a sensor is triggered in your alarm system the siren will go off and emit the loud noise that will often scare off an intruder or simply bring attention to a troubled area. It is not uncommon to also install a strobe light in conjunction with a siren for extra security measures. To wire a siren we recommend using a standard 18/2 multi-conductor cable. Most alarm panels provide integrated powered relay outputs on them that allow you to easily connect and control a siren. A siren is very simple to install and can be up and running in a manner of minutes!
