The backlit two-line directory LCD display scrolls a programmable welcome message and shows the directory Names and Directory Codes. The system contains a built-in microphone, tamper resistant speaker, and a TTY connector for the hearing impaired. The heavy duty access relay can control electric door strikes, magnetic locks, door \u0026amp; gate operators, or barrier gates.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe AE-100 offers multi-lingual display programming prompts and voice help that is available with a choice of English, Spanish, French-Canadian, or Portuguese language selection for the system. For entrapment detection, obstacle relays activate from MGT safety edge transmitters and connect to the obstacle input of the access device. OPEN REQUEST input terminals are supplied for hardwired activation of the access devices with an external pushbutton or keyswitch.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe AP-5 monitors each MGT safety edge transmitter for hourly status reports, tamper signals, and low battery signals. A beep will sound every 5 seconds if a fault occurs and the trouble source can be displayed. An access transmitter must be activated twice to trigger the access relay if a supervisory trouble condition exists on any MGT transmitter.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe AP-5 can be powered from 12-24 Volts AC or DC. The Form C relay outputs can switch up to 1 Amp each.
