A CCTV Siamese cable is a vital component of any successful security camera installation. This CCTV cable is an RG59 coaxial cable and an 18/2 power cable all in one easy to pull Siamese cable. The RG59 coaxial cable features a 20 AWG solid center conductor, 95% copper braid, and a UV rated PVC jacket. This is the Siamese CCTV cable the professionals use!
Simply run the Siamese cable and then peel it apart on each end prior to termination. The RG59 coaxial cable will be used to carry a video signal from the security camera back to the DVR (Digital Video Recorder). Simple terminate both ends of your RG59 coax with a male BNC connector and you are ready to plug it into both your security camera and your DVR. The 18/2 multi-conductor cable is used for power and will attach on one end to your power source (power supply or transformer) and the opposite end to your security camera.
