ICMPP04860 Patch Panel Applications:
The ICMPP04860 Cat 6 Patch Panel is designed for rack mount installations. It will consume 2 rackmount spaces on a traditional 19” stand-alone network rack, wall mount rack, wall mount bracket, or network enclosure. The ICMPP04860 is suitable for all Cat 6 and Cat6e network installations at the home or business!
ICMPP04860 Patch Panel Installation Instructions:
Step 1. Choose between TIA-568-A or TIA-568-B wiring configuration.
Step 2A. Terminate conductors using a single blade punch down tool. Make sure you are using the 110 blade of a punch down tool.
Step 2B. Terminate conductors using a four pair punch down tool if you have one.
Step 3. Use supplied cable ties to secure cable bundles.
Optional. Install cable management in front of the patch panel. There are numerous cable management panels available depending on the amount of cables you are trying to manage and/or the direction you are trying to route cables.
Optional. Install metal cable management panel in rear of the patch panel.
Optional. Install plastic cable management bar in rear of the patch panel.
Optional. Install retention cap onto IDC.
