The PA1594 is a microprocessor-controlled active cable tester designed for quick and reliable testing of LAN (RJ45) and coaxial (F connector) cables. Perfect for professionals and DIY enthusiasts, it allows you to verify continuity and wiring accuracy in seconds, detecting shorts, opens, miswires, splits, and reversals.

Key features include the ability to test both straight-through and crossover LAN cables, dual scan speeds (fast or slow), and detailed pin-out mapping for connectors and cables. The tester works on cables up to 900′ (300m) and also supports coaxial cable testing with the included F connector adaptors.

For convenience, the transmitter and receiver units lock together for compact storage and fit neatly in a durable nylon carrying case with belt loop. The kit comes complete with two RJ45 patch cords and two AAA batteries, making it ready for immediate use.
