The AL40 is a reliable passive infrared (PIR) motion detector featuring QMA (Qualified Motion Analysis) for accurate and stable detection. Designed with rock-solid RFI immunity and dual slope temperature compensation, it ensures consistent performance in varying environmental conditions. An optional 100 lb. pet immunity lens helps reduce false alarms, while the multi-function LED provides status indication and self-dimming based on ambient temperature.

Operating on 10.6–16VDC, the AL40 uses a dual-element pyro sensor with selectable pulse count (2 or 4) for customizable sensitivity. It includes a normally closed (NC) solid-state alarm output and tamper output, with a 50-second warm-up period and retriggerable 2.4-second alarm. Suitable for mounting heights of 6.5 to 8.5 ft, it operates in temperatures from 14°F to 131°F (up to 95% humidity). Its compact size (3.9" x 2.5" x 1.7") and lightweight design make it ideal for professional indoor security installations.
