The Platinum Tools 12360 External Ground Crimp Tool is specifically designed for crimping the external ground of shielded RJ45 connectors. It performs a 360 degree crimp ensuring a proper shielded connector termination. The 12360 will work on a wide range of cable outer diameters from 6.2mm/0.245" to 8.5mm/0.335" making it perfect for Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6E, Cat6A, and Cat57 cables.

The 12360 allows the installer to perform a concentric termination with full control, preventing over/under crimping the external ground tab.
