The 14/2SHP is a 14/2 shielded plenum cable designed for security and low power applications. This 14-2 cable features bare copper stranded conductors, color-coded conductors, an overall shield with drain wire, and a white plenum rated (CMP) jacket.

This 14-2 shielded plenum cable is certified for installations where cables are installed in a plenum open air plenum ceiling. The plenum rating (CMP) means that the jacket is made with a special compound that will stop dangerous toxins from entering the air circulation system in the case of a fire and the cable is burned. The cables shielding will ensure the signals it carries are not hindered by any outside environmental factors.
