The PAL-1574 LAN Cable-Check is a simple and easy-to-use cable tester designed for Ethernet (RJ45) and telephone cables (RJ11/12/14). It quickly checks cables for continuity, correct wiring, and cross-over connections in seconds—just plug in the cable and power it on for automatic scanning. With fast and slow scan speeds, it also maps connector pinouts and is ideal for testing patch cords or building wiring.

Capable of testing cables up to 1,650 ft (500 m), the unit features 8P8C and 6P6C sockets for broad compatibility. The transmitter and receiver lock together for convenient storage, and the kit includes two RJ45 patch cords, a 9V battery, and a durable nylon carrying case with belt loop, making it perfect for technicians on the go.
